07/07/07

It's July, the seventh month and for the past 6 months, i had not done much. My happiest days were those i spent with my family back home. July is always a special month for me because i am a July baby!

Called home, and dad told me today is a good day for wedding. He was hinting , and i knew, he kinda remind me again that i should hurry up and get married. Oh dear. I wish i could too. But i told him my priority is not marriage, and i assured him i would do my best this year to achieved my new year resolutions made on the beginning of 2007.

At my part time yesterday, one of the regular customers came in and ordered his meal, i greeted him as usual and felt a bit strange as his wife did not come along this time. When i thought i wanted to ask about his wife and he said : ' Starting from today, i would have to only order meal for one person. My wife died last week.' Oh, it was such a shocking piece of news. I know them both as a loving old couple, always come in with cheery smiles and holding hands. Mrs Boarman was a very nice old lady, dressed beautifully with make up and her ever pretty manicured fingers and matching glasses and accessories. She was healthy and well, i did not ask how she died, i felt really sad in my heart and the whole day at work i kept thinking about her smiling face. I could not imagine further if my loved ones die at this stage of my life. I can't handle this and i thought i won't be strong to go through this.
